sometimes...i am so boring. what did i do today after work? looked around on lowes and home depot for different house ideas, primarily looking for deck & porch info...wasted a lot of time there. talked to the woman at the mortgage company so she can talk to the apartment and get rental history...tried to order a 500Gb HDD on newegg b/c they've got some awesome prices on the WD ones right now and found out that my new credit card activation hadn't gone through yet. so i suppose that's good that i found that out and got it fixed b/c i used it to buy gas and a belt sander yesterday. i also made some...hmm...don't really wanna call it progress, but i guess that's the only word for now, towards getting the laptop out of Vista purgatory. the person that emailed me told me i could get the credit back for the license i bought, but if i was going to do what i wanted, i.e., get the installation i
have activated, i'd have to call MS's product support line...why, that sounds like a blast! i also need to call columbia house and tell them to fuck off. i denied my selection online back at the beginning of the month like always, but i found a charge from them on my debit card. so, now i'm going to have to return another dvd.
ok, so nothing really exciting, but i AM getting business taken care of. and i actually quit smoking today. went and bought the patches and everything. which might account for why i've been sitting in front of my computer all night not knowing what to do with my hands.
